Community Service
Community service events are at the core of Sneham's mission.
You can make a difference in the community when you volunteer with Sneham. Every month, the Sneham community partners with local non-profits or host independent community service events to give back to those in need. Service events are managed by the Vice President/Service Coordinator, Lilly Blevin. Lilly fosters relationships within the tri-state region with various service organizations with which Sneham can partner with and participate in service events. Community service events include activities such as preparing a warm meal for an elderly community, packing and giving away groceries, handing out essential supplies to unhoused community members, or the simple act of engaging in meaningful conversation with those who need to be heard. The community service events included below are a small representation of the services and care Sneham provides.

Chester
Luncheon
Lunch service events help elderly low-income individuals and families. Volunteers set up a lunch service in the lobby of an elderly community center and serve a warm meal along with a heartfelt conversation.
Grocery Giveaway
This contact-free event serves local residents with bags of groceries. Volunteers help by sorting items, stocking bags, and loading trunks.
Philly
Care Bags
Help those in need in the city of Philadelphia! Groups of Sneham volunteers visit central locations in Phila. to hand-out bags with essential supplies such as socks, gloves, hand sanitizer, snacks, etc.
Kensington
Food/Clothing
This event is to help feed low-income or unhoused people in the Kensington area. The Sneham group partners with other local non-profits to provide a meal and thoughtful conversation. Care items can also be given away when available.
